New Person Of The Week: Rico

Look up crazy, amazing, bizzare or skull followed by the word Tattoo in google and you will be flooded with pictures of some crazy dude with a skull tattoo'd on his face!!

This crazy dude is Rick Genest aka Rico or in some cases.... Zombie Boy!!!

Found on facebook by Tierry Mugler's new Creative Director and Lady Gaga stylist Nicola Formichetti. His face may scare, confuse or cause no feeling at all but this guy is on the rise....He is now the Muse of Thierry Mugler and stars in Lady Gaga's new video for Born This Way.

We were introduced to Genest via Cathy Horyn’s latest musings on the industry, “Pushing Fashion Boundaries in an Era Without Any”. In a section highlighting the popularity of trans-gender model Lea T., androgynous model Andrej Pejic, and albino model Steven Thompson, Horyn reveals Formichetti’s newfound inspiration. This week, Nicola Formichetti was in Montreal photographing a young man named Rick Genest, whom he found on Facebook and is known as Rico. Mr. Genest had his body tattooed to resemble a skeleton, with blackened eye sockets and ghoulishly large dentiture on his lips. “Rico is my muse,” Mr. Formichetti, who styles Lady Gaga, wrote in an e-mail.

So... what does this spell for the future of the fashion industry and people with obsessive tattoo's?

For me it is a welcome change, and I for one are happy to see someone different in the spotlight!!!

Charlie Sheen sues CBS

Last week the news that the popular US TV show 'Two and a Half Men' was cancelled by CBS. Well things have made a turn for worse, Charlie Sheen (photographed above) is suing CBS for "psychological stress", he continued to tell NBC's Today show that he was "underpaid [and] tired of pretending [he's] not special". He then went on to rant about his violence was for defence of his family, which consist of a former porn star and ex wife Brooke Mueller with whom he has two songs. 


He stated his reasons for suing CBS for cutting the show;

“I’ve got a whole family to support and love. They’re relying on that money to fuel the magic. I have a violent side to protect my family.” 

It'll be interesting to see where things go from here on this lawsuit! 

Tattoo's

A total non celebrity related post........ but as im tattoo obsessed...here is a look at a couple of mine...

The fish is a Koi on my right foot!!

The other is a polynesian based deisgn i drew, it goes down the back of my arm from my elbow to my wrist.

I also have a tribal design on my calf, a chinese symbol on inside of each wrist, my name across bottom of my back (i have no idea why, awful mistake) and a half sleeve (from elbow down) on mu right arm thats Day of the Death skulls, with roses and candles, half finished so will add pics when its done.

Get that finished then i can start on my other 10+

Britney Spears and Katy Perry?

There is so much speculation arising surrounding Britney's second single from 'Femme Fetale'. Most of it would seem to just be bullshit, however this one caught my eye. Now nothing has been confirmed but every thing seems to be leaning toward the same answer. IS Katy Perry on Britney Spears' next single?

Following the information of some fans that were listening to Z100 radio station, they say that the radio just confirmed that the next Femme Fatale single is a special collaboration with Katy Perry. 

The hype of this new had already been growing before, since the radio station had promised to share with all of us the featuring. 

Now all we gotta do is wait for the confirmation (or not), by Britney Spears' official team.

Looks fairly innocent and made up, however Katy Perry just took to her twitter and said this;

13 hours later I'm back in sweeeet Los Angeles... and boy do I have a secret for you! GOOD MORNING!

Still speculation, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this one pans out! Stay tuned.

Leona's dream Glee character....

Leona Lewis has never been shy in telling the world she would love a place on Glee, and even put out there what part she would play in the hit musical show, Leona explains to E Online "I'd love to play a rebel. Be a real biker chick in leather and covered in tattoos. A real badass." Now that is something i would like to see Lewis's vocal talents mixed with Murphy's writing, recipe for success!!! Leona is also friends with Matthew Morrison who plays Will Schuester on the hit show and performed with her on her UK tour last summer.

Lady GaGa on American Idol Final

Despite the shows tumbling viewing figures, Lady GaGa has been officially booked for the American Idol final in May. Confirmed by her 'bezzie' Perez Hilton the singer will potentially perform her second single from the highly anticipated album 'Born This Way', the single being 'Judas'. Hopefully this performance will give American Idol a few extra viewers during these trying times.

In other Idol news, last years winner Lee Dewyze took to his Twitter to announce that he will perform his new single on Idol this Thursday.

Hottie Body Hump Club

So i'm thinking Jimmy Kimmel is on to something here, not only is this hilarious..therfore you would forget you were working out, BUT who doesnt want to work out with Sophia Vergera, Emily blunt, Jessica Alba, Minika Kelly, Kelly Ripa, Jessica Biel........the list goes on.... My point is, Jimmy Kimmel could be responsible for whipping the overweight America into shape!!! ha ha

And the best actress goes to......

I couldnt think of a more deserving winner for this award. The film is amazing alone, but brought to another level by the AMAZING Natalie Portman's stunning performance. My one question is how the hell did Mila Kunis slip through the net and not even bag a nod for her role? Just because she plays Meg in Family Guy and noone likes her....c'mon guys....give the girl some credit, hopefully she will get some credit from her upcoming "Friends With Benefits" with Justin Timberlake!!!

Oscars.....

So as this is a brand new blog and Yesterday was the Oscars, there doesn't seem a more fitting topic for my first post........

Best Dressed of the night goes to.... Mila Kunis... Everything was right about this look!!!! Perfect hair, Perfect Make-Up, Perfect dress......AMAZING!!!

Wost dressed of the night goes to... Nicole Kidman... NOTHING was right with this look, and considering she is a veteran of the Oscars and working the Red Carpet... HUGE LET DOWN!!

Anne Hathaway looks AMAZING in everything she wore... well done to Rachel Zoe!!

And James Franco looked gorgeous as usual and him and Anne need to start some kind of romance... AMAZING COUPLE!!!
